Treasure Island Beach is the Best!

You are currently viewing Treasure Island Beach is the Best!

With so many great beaches in Pinellas County, how can visitors decide on where to soak up rays ? While staying at the luxurious Eiko’s Beach House in Treasure Island our guests have it made! That’s because the best beach for a short or long stay is Treasure Island Beach. Why is this and how can we chose this over all the other fantastic beaches in the area? Here are 5 reasons why:

1)      Treasure Island Beach is Quiet

If you are looking to share your personal space with hundreds of your “closest friends”, Clearwater Beach is your place to be.

However, most guests of the Eiko’s Beach House prefer a more intimate and less hectic environment. Guests find it fun to spread out and be yards, not feet or inches, from their sun worshipping neighbours.

Treasure Island Beach is easily accessible via public access points. So visitors can tan, swim, surf and dolphin watch without falling over others.

Another huge benefit is if you are fortunate enough to be staying at Eiko’s Beach House, you will be able to use your private access path and stake your very own personal claim to Treasure Island Beach for you and your family. Unless it’s during the weekend, it’ll be rare to have to get to know your neighbours.

Unless you really want to!

2)      Treasure Island Beach is Clean/safety

Our guests comment frequently about how they see the occasional vehicle driving on the beach. The sanitation department of Treasure Island collects garbage on an ongoing basis while the police department is subtle but equally vigilant in making sure your stay is safe as well as enjoyable.

We are the envy of the other great beaches nearby and our guest only need to worry about when the next dolphin will be seen or whether tonight’s refreshment will be a rum runner or a chilled wine.

The city keeps the beach clean and the residents have pride in the community.

3)    Great for Shelling!

Walking the length of Treasure Island Beach in the morning or early evening is good, relaxing exercise. Equally, many of our guests enjoy collecting sea shells on the shore.

West Florida is famous for terrific shelling and Treasure Island is an excellent place to get started.  Large, unbroken shells are commonly gathered along with the occasional vacant conch shell which adds to your exotic collection.

Visitors use their finds to decorate fishing nets for a maritime décor or to add a personal touch to a child’s bedroom.  Many visitors to Eiko’s Beach House create and leave shell sculptures for the pleasure of being creative and for the next guest visiting our luxury beach home.

4)      Treasure Island Beach is Family Friendly

While singles and couples are love Treasure Island Beach, we notice families seem to gravitate to the area.

Whether this is for the above great reasons, a chance to see one of nature’s most spectacular sunsets, or because of the nearby family friendly restaurants or even the candy and ice cream shops. Treasure Island Beach is a magnet to families who need to relax just prior to or after a visit to Central Florida’s theme parks and other high energy destinations.

At  Treasure Island Beach the buzz word is “chill.”

Whether on the beach, watching the sunsets, dolphins or pelicans gliding over the waves. Mothers, fathers and children enjoy quality time together in a clean, safe environment during a vacation to remember.

5)         Beach Accommodations

While visiting Treasure Island, Florida it is ideal if you can arrange a stay at one of the beach houses, cottages or hotels directly on the beach. Visitors tell stories of how time slows down as Treasure Island really is an island! Time simply doesn’t have the same meaning as on the mainland.

It is easy to forget your worries, problems and complaints in order to rejuvenate yourself in the magical waters of the Gulf of Mexico. How extraordinary would it be to leave your accommodations wearing a swimsuit and sandals and trek down to the beach to claim your own piece of the sun?

Now imagine if the accommodations you were staying at were private, for the use of your own family or group. Now picture along with the private beach house you have your own heated swimming pool, hot tub, second floor covered porch overseeing the Gulf.

Impossible?

Not at all, as Eiko’s Beach House is your own tailor made paradise on the Pinellas County’s best beach. Treasure Island.
