Hubbards Marina (Johns Pass)
A five minute walk from the Eiko Beach House, the fishing options are almost endless should you want to do a half day, full day or even night fishing (recommended if you are seeking shark!) If you catch your dinner but don’t feel like cooking, you can go to the Friendly Fisherman who for a nominal fee will prepare your catch along with a couple of sides! Ideal for novices and experienced fishermen alike.
Miss Pass-A-Grille
Another family friendly fishing experience near the Eiko Beach house is Miss Pass-A-Grille which is situated about 15 minutes by car south of Eiko Beach House in Treasure Island. The boat is medium sized and the crew are friendly and helpful in giving fishing tips and getting you out of trouble when you get your lines tangled. The catches are usually good and you can almost guarantee a fresh seafood dinner when your return to your Beach House in Treasure island.
The Offshore Hustler
Another adventure you may want to consider if you group wants to catch the most in the shortest period of time is The Offshore Hustler, coincidentally also claims Pass-A-Grille as its home port. The ride out into the Gulf of Mexico is in itself exhilarating. The crew gets right to the fish and usually within minutes you land your first catch of the day. The cost for this excursion is more than the others but the boat is private and seats up to six people. Most guests of the our the beach house who tried The Offshore hustler give it the double thumbs up!
