When looking for a Florida vacation location, instead of the usual and boring hotel or scatter approach to theme parks. We suggest something different.
Something that gives a lot more.
Great restaurants, the world’s longest beach bar, amazing sunsets, but most of all, the charm and quirkiness of Key West but with all the action and excitement of the Sun Coast. This private paradise really exists, its Eiko’s Beach House located in Treasure Island, Florida.
Treasure Island History
Well the area has ties to pirates of old and buried treasure. The French pirate /fisherman, John Levique, (The namesake of John’s Pass in neighbouring Madeira Beach) , allegedly buried his treasure somewhere on Treasure Island in the mid 1800’s .
In the early 1900’s a local hotelier “claimed” he found buried treasure which attracted people like bees to honey and kick started the growth of this resort community. Enough history, let’s get down to the fun and entertainment.
Our Community
What Treasure Island differentiates itself from other communities on the Gulf Coast is that once you emerge into this community, our guests at the Eiko’s Beach House, don’t want to leave.
The white powder sand beaches of Treasure Island provide an entertaining, safe and thoroughly wholesome environment for a family, couple or friends who need to relax by the water. There are lots of access points to enter the beach and almost always has plenty of room to spread out and pitch an umbrella to enjoy the day.
Dining in Treasure Island
Dining in Treasure Island features a range of choice from Middle Grounds, Palm Court Italian Grill and The Pearl are some of the great higher end options. Sloppy Joes, Caddy Treasure Island and Foxy’s Café are great choices on the more moderately priced end of the spectrum.
