Who doesn’t like pizza? I know while staying at the luxury Eiko’s Beach House in Treasure Island, Florida there are times when we don’t want to cook.
The kids don’t want to go out as they are having too much fun in the refreshing swimming pool or the heated tub. So where is the best pizza in Treasure Island and more importantly do they deliver? Some of our guests at Eiko’s Beach House have shared their opinions and the three best places in Treasure Island to enjoy pizza are:
Britts Pizza
Britt’s Coal Fired Pizza, located at 10709 Gulf Blvd, Britt’s delivers locally so no problem and their pizzas are ..out of this world! Each one is made from scratch…not defrosted frozen pizzas, and then baked in a 900 degree coal fired oven.
One guest commented that at Britt’s you can build your own pizza if you have a creative personality with an appetite to match. They are conveniently located near the beach on Gulf Blvd and this allows you the option to dine in, collect or have it delivered. While pizza is their specialty, the mouth-watering menu also provides all you need for an Italian lunch, dinner or snack.
Caesar salads, pasta dishes and baked calzone have all been mentioned favourably. However, pizza is the go to choice for this local restaurant who has been successfully in business since 1992. When ordering, Eiko chooses the Margaretta Pizza which included fresh mozzarella, roasted garlic, olive oil and basil.
The boys enjoy a more meaty Supreme Pizza which is a heavenly mixture of pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onion, green peppers and cheese. You will have small, medium and large sizes to choose from but we order the large and embarrassingly must admit there is almost never any left overs for tomorrow.
Original Pizza Treasure Island
Original Pizza is another hot spot for delicious pizzas in Treasure Island. This “old school” New York style pizza helps those guest who reminisce or just need a fix of New York style pizza like they grew up with.
At this establishment you will have the choice of an original thin crust pizza or the Sicilian thick crust pizza. But with thin or thick crust a highly recommended pizza by our guests is the Meaty Pizza; which includes ham, bacon, meatballs, pepperoni and sausage. The menu both for pizza and other delicious dishes have keep our guests well feed but the highest marks go to “Meaty Pizza”, so vegetarians beware.
Gigi’s Italian Restaurant Treasure Island
A long established pizza and Italian Restaurant is Gigi’s located at 105 Treasure island Causeway is a long -time favourite for both locals and repeat visitors. Gigi is more of a restaurant than a pizzeria but they do deliver and they have an extensive Italian menu to choose from.
The hands down winner of best pizza at Gigi’s is the Pepperoni Pizza ordered large and served hot. We have a guest who told us that they come back year after year and have tried other items at Gigi’s but they think this pizza is by far the best in the area.
Back home to the Eiko’s Beach House

Well, all three restaurants are within a mile of Eiko’s Beach House. They all deliver locally so you can enjoy the last remnants of the day and watch an amazing sunset from the porch while dining on a delicious, hot, local Treasure Island pizza.
We suggest a glass of Chianti for the adults and fresh lemonade for the children as you order and try some of the pizzas described above. And since the pizza is delivered to your door, you have even more time to spend at Eiko’s Beach House in Treasure island.
