The best breakfast in John’s Pass Village, Fl

To follow last week’s blog on the history of John’s Pass let’s dive into something even more practical, breakfast! If travelling five minutes by car from the luxury Eiko’s Beach House is too strenuous in the morning. How about a short 5 minute stroll across John’s Pass Bridge will take to the entrance of John’s Pass Village? This 1100 foot boardwalk and adjacent facilities have a great selection of dining options. So here’s where you can go for the best breakfast in John’s Pass Village.

The Boardwalk Grill

The Boardwalk Grill is located, as described in the name, on the boardwalk. While primarily a lunch/dinner restaurant locals get the ham and cheese bagel and hash browns to makes this a perfect way to attack that hangover or to tie you over until lunch later in the day.

From the grill you can watch the fishing boats come in and out of John’s Pass and if lucky, spot a dolphin or two.

Addicted to the Bean

The nearby, Addicted to the Bean, is in reality a coffee bar, but isn’t breakfast really wrapped around a great  cup of coffee or two? This local gem has some of the best coffee in the Treasure Island/Madeira Beach area.

Additionally there terrific cappuccinos, expressos and frozen coffee concoctions are supplemented by muffins, donuts and sandwiches which can be served cold or warm.  This is a great place for a quick breakfast with small “eats” while enjoying an amazing coffee.

Lisa’s Café

Lisa’s Café is a little further down from the boardwalk but if you are hungry it’s worth the walk as you will be pleasantly surprised.

While we can use the cliché everything on the menu is good, we suggest you try the omelettes. The Western omelette is my favourite while Eiko zeroes in on the vegetarian omelette.

The veggies are fresh and the ham in the Western omelette is ample but not overbearing.  We enjoy the side of grits but hash browns are an option along with a muffin or toast. We guarantee you will not leave this establishment hungry!

Enjoy your John’s Pass Village Breakfast

These are the closest breakfast restaurants which are within walking distance of Eiko’s Beach House in Treasure island. While in John’s Pass you can scout the area for what activities and or venues you may want to visit in the evening.

Eiko’s Beach House is centrally located in Treasure Island and only a short walk to the famous  John’s Pass in Madeira Beach .

This allows an evening out to sample the great seafood, tropical drinks and beer made in the area and talented local bands without worrying about taxis, Ubers or driving.

Of course, it’s possible to bring the party to Eiko’s Beach House as you have your own private pool, hot tub, and one of the best views of a colorful sunset from your covered private porch overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. With a venue like this, it will be easy to attract friends or just entertain the family in your own private paradise at Eiko’s Beach House in Treasure island, Florida.
